60 Second Guide to our Dementia App
Recogneyes Choices© is a fully featured communication system, and we have worked hard to create a comprehensive App Guide and FAQ section to help users get the most out of the app.
But we know time is precious, and most of you just want to dive right in and give it a try. And we love your enthusiasm!
So here is our 60 second guide to getting started.

Our app offers 3 types of lists that people can add to:
- Choices – great for creating temporary lists for a day, week, specific meal etc
- Favourites – ideal for storing a list of someone’s favourite foods or items
- Dislikes – keep track of things to avoid with a specific person

60 Second Guide to Using the App
Step 1 – Create Profiles
Create a profile for each person you are caring for.
Step 2 – Limit the Images
We have a LOT of images in our app and are adding more each month. We recommend you pop into the Settings and choose which images you want to appear in the main gallery for each category.
Step 3 – Go through the gallery with your patient/loved one
Want to know what they want to wear? Flick through the Clothing category and ask them.
Perhaps you want to know what they like to eat? Flick through the food categories and they can click Add to Choices for a specific meal, or Add to Favourites to start a list of foods they like in general.
